This thread is for reporting data issues with the 2000AD Online Vault. You can also post additions here, for things that need adding.

Please inclue the URL of where you saw the issue, and describe the issue as it appears, and how you expect it to appear.

Example:

In Meg 722, the story "Judge Dredd: Supergalactic Superstar" says its episode 3, and has the writer listed as "Johnny Saveloy".
This should be episode 1337, with the writer as "Ronald MacDonald".

I'll try to spend some time fixing these, but again I expect there to be a lot of issues and I've only got so much time to spare.

Well, the immediate problem is that the "stories" listings do not seem to be meshing with the year-end special Progs.  Quick example for you is the page for the first series of Shakara:

The notation at the top which reads "First episode double length in #PROG2002#." is correct, but that's contradicted by the messed-up episode count through the weekly progs, with covers, below it.  It's actually episode two that appears in 1273, and episode three that appears in prog 1274, and so on down.  So at the bottom of the listing, you've got a blank space for episode eight, which actually appeared in prog 1279.

This appears to be happening with every serial that began in a year-end Prog, and also in those rarer instances where they end in one, like Nemesis and Prog 2000:

Are these all instances where one of the episodes appears in a "special", not a regular weekly prog?

Yes - and therefore probably all instances where there's a # in the notes field, which I used to allow the special to find the credit details.

That's not so bad then, the specials aren't yet converted and the method we used to convert the stories over has a weird overrun issue if there are more episodes then prints.

Fixable, but means spending some time wading through the database.  I'll try and get some done today.

VinceBot

Not as many issues as I expected - I've corrected all the ones I could find, but you obviously won't have those links to the specials until we actually have the specials in the database.

Fixed!

I am hoping that this is the correct place to post this - if not, my sincerest apologies!
The problem seems to be with accessing the Vaults database for the Megazines. Unlike for the Progs where every number can be reached, the display for the Megs only shows the most recent ones and when you click to see earlier issues, it just repeats the same page. There also appears to be no 'NEXT' feature for the Megs.

Huh, you're not wrong. I'm not sure what's up with that. I'll have a look on Monday when I've got access to the site again.

By the by, the site is due for a framework update, but I'm not sure when this will be. It'll make the site faster but probably won't include any feature updates yet.

Emperor

There seems to be a problem with the credits for the latest Megazine:

I doubt it is really the Volgan War and presume it is a "Rowdy" Robbie Morrison Judge Dredd with the fragrant Leigh Gallagher on art.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Dunno, I just put whatever was in the email on the database. It might be wrong. Not getting fixed until monday at the least.
