And yet it is here on the news thread, on the official Rebellion/2000ad site.

I must admit, I must admit, I've never been entierly sure why this place needs a news *and* an announcement section. Are announcements not just a way of telling people news?

I seem to recall the IDW news broke elsewhere first as well; the internet is hardly an easy thing to co-ordinate, especially across time zones, so I don't see a less-than-a-day time delay as any sign that Tharg's droids are neglecting this site as an official platform for news.

Hang on, I'm confused.

This thread *is* on here, right? Otherwise, how would we be having this conversation?

Aw, now I feel like a jerk for the post in the furniture thread. Good on ya CL2K. It'll get easier every time!

Hope it sells loads! Will there be a quotable Crazyfox press release for us to all pimp out once you get back? And by pimp  out, I mean copy and paste into blogs, and such like.

What's going on with the wall in the first picture?  This looks like 90% of the digs I lived in as a younger man

As read this, I was trying to figure out what you meant, then with the next bit it clicked that you weren't talking about archaeological trenches.

Back on topic, you haven't asked her out yet, have you?

Dante has been a high point of finding 2000AD (any trades advice guys?).

Yep, start at book one and head on from there. Some of them are difficult to get hold of, though.

Dante is brilliant. I love that this story takes him right back to the beginning, to when he first came to Rudenstien. He's just a guy, out of his depth, challenged to a fight to death. A metaphor for the whole series, really.

I vote we throw it open to the forum, best title suggestion wins!

How about This Comic Contains No Bees? And we have a cover with some person getting attacked by bees.

See, this is why I didn't email you with any alternatives to Boys on Bicycles

The casting of Ms Coleman is a blatant ploy to direct the collective attention of the DW fanbase away from from the fact that Chris Chibnall is writing another episode this season.

Chris Chibnall.

Having just googled Chris Chibnall, all I can say is "Ah, crap."

I do remember past examples of Dredd "trusting" people to report to their local sector house while he speeds off to deal with other things. The "trust" presumably coming from the fact that PSU would knowif they didn't and send the judges a judging. Receipts seem to fit in with that idea.

The family quality of it struck me as well, by which I mean that it has all the sort of things I wanted from the recent Conan film, but done in a very well executed way that doesn't prohibit its suitability for children. The deaths of the antagonistic Thargs are both good examples of this.

If I was a kid, I would have been playing at jumping all over the place this morning. As it is, I've just started a holiday so I have the house to myself and, well, you can see where this is going...

Got mine today too, love the way my postcard came out! Er, so I'm obviously biased, but I think it is pretty cool stuff!

Just seen this, and thought it was bloody brilliant. Loved the menacing ominous power of the baddies, the character inherent in all the Thargs, and the use of the blue blood at that critical moment. And Caesar and Mark-Antoine were brilliant supporting cast.

It's great that Bay claims "The turtles are from an alien race, and they are going to be tough, edgy, funny, and completely loveable," because if the Transformers films proved anything, it's that Bay knows everything there is to know about characterisation.

So, Leonardo will be completely sidelined after being killed off to motivate what will be laughably referred to as "the plot", Michelangelo will get just one terrible line of dialogue that doesn't fit in context, Donatello will have his name changed and gain a moustache, and Raphael will be a racist black stereotype, with a different colour head-band, because red isn't a good colour to do with cgi. Meanwhile, the entire film will be about April, letting the camera linger on her badly constructed jumpsuit with the constantly breaking zip. These shots will be both uncomfortable to watch, and strangely devoid of sexyness for reasons no one can quite fathom.

Books & Comics / Re: Happy 30th birthday Warrior

When my mum and dad got married, one of their friends got them (and by 'them' I mean, 'my dad') a subscription for the occasion. There was a letter published where this friend congratulates my parents, and some of the people involved in making Warrior signed the first issue of their subscription (#5, I think, the one with V and the sepia alleyway).

Thanks Warrior-folks, and happy birthday!

Oooh, page ratings, how ominously daunting!

Liking the format of the digital copy. Perhaps we could use the Author's Notes section on the first page of each strip to give a recap of what has happened before?

Also, love that the cut out page got in there!
