Dredd and Aquila were good this week, I had to reread the FS however, as the panel layout messed with me a bit. I got the twist pretty early on, at (what I think was) panel three. Other than that, soundly written and drawn.

Glad to see the back of Brass Sun (story was okay but I think it could have been done in less parts)

Black Shuck... I laughed out loud at the end of that one as I read, "The End?" at the bottom of the page. The audacity of that question mark... I hope I never see that bloody thing again!

Roll on 1900.

Dredd: Good stuff, keep it comin'.

Aquila: Building towards a nice finale!

Brass Sun: I honestly thought it would have been done by now, this is more dragged out than RuPaul!

Black Shuck: ... Completely lost me.

Jaegir:
Felt a bit slower this week until I got to the final page and bam! Still holding my interest!
No complaints this week really...

Still not keen on Black Shuck though!

I've only read Dredd and Black Shuck so far (still reading last week's prog!)

I like this Dredd story, got a case of the feels for Lenny McTick in this story... Not sure about Black Shuck from the first part though, I can't really pass judgment on it yet, but it feels like it's not one for me (so far)...

Hi All!

Yeah, always meant to get round to joining properly - spent a lot of time lurking around the creative common and seeing what was upcoming in the events thread, and everyone seems very friendly, which is certainly my experience when putting faces to some of the regular names at various cons.

Chris, whereabouts in Cheshire are you? The leafier end of things, or the grimy post-chemical pits towards Widnes? (that's where I am - I'm always surprised that we haven't got a sign on the outskirts saying we're twinned with The Cursed Earth...).

I'm in Macclesfield, the east of Cheshire. It's quiet... Most of the time.

Just finished reading it. Pretty good prog all 'round. Starting to enjoy Grey Area a bit more than usual nowadays, now that I've read a few back to back. I'm still cool with Ulysses Sweet. Looking forward to the next part of this Strontium Dog story, should be good!

Roll on next Wednesday!

I used to have one, but then Jonathan Ross wiped his arse on it...

 He left me an answerphone message telling me he'd wiped his arse with yours. I didn't know what to think at the time...

Quite a few, if memory serves me right - there's a couple of Marvel alumni, at least.

Cullen Bunn is the guy who sticks out for me. He's been doing stuff at Marvel (Deadpool kills..., Fearless Defenders, Venom, Magneto) and he's even got that new Sinestro series coming from DC. He's killing it and has been for a while...

I'm pretty sure it was through his website that I first heard about FutureQuake.
