Hello, I was writing to see if some valiant board-member could assist me in my hunt. I'm after these books from the 2000AD Ultimate Collection

Savage 1, 2, 3 (UC 75, 85, 95)
Defoe 2 (UC 107)
Tyranny Rex (UC 109)

Ebay hunts mean that I will play about 40 pounds per book (obviously not ideal!) I'd be willing to find a middle ground, so that someone feels that their time and effort is appreciated, but I'd prefer to not be fleeced as well. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to your assistance.

I'm looking to get physical editions of the original Wagner/Grant/Gibson run, but of course the Droid Files 1 is prohibitively OOP.

If I were to get Verdus, Days of the Droids and Beast of Blackblood Manner and then skip The Filby Case and Killing of Kidd before jumping into Droid Files 2, will I miss anything essential? I'm trying to avoid buying the "Play It Again, Sam" collection as it means i'll double up on "Football Crazy" and the story "Play It Again, Sam."

Hi all, my name is Victor, and I've spent the last few months poring over 75% of these threads to deepen my 2000ad knowledge. I first got the American dread vs. Death Bolland DC book years ago, then Bad Company, then Nemesis... a little Indigo Prime as well... after years of resistance, I gave in and went full throttle into this slice of the comics world. I've picked up over 75 graphic novels in the past few months and really hope to continue my growing appreciation of 2000ad!

I just finished off Invasion 1984, and found all three Charley's War books and am reading a few chapters a night. After that, I plan to get into Strontium Dog, but I've had a hard time moving through the Starlord tales. Might jump ahead to the second case file and revisit the early tales afterwards.
