Title: Missing Episode of Doctor Who found
Post by: Thread Zero on 15 January, 2004, 09:36:04 PM
Yes, it's true - episode two of 'The Dalek's Master Plan' has been found.

And there was much rejoicing in the Doctor Who community.

Odd how it's been found just as the last DW video came out.

Any chance they can arrange to lose all the Bonny Langford episodes and hide them for decades in the same place where they found this one?

There's loads to the Dalek Master Plan though isn't there?  Thirteen episodes or something daft?  How many are 'found' now?

No, don't do that - Missing Episodes automatically obtain the status of 'classic' no matter how bad they are.  You'd have the Legion of Fanboys praising the 'sublime dialogue' of 'Time and the Rani' if you're not careful!

For example, the returned episode features the appearance of the notorious 'Alien Deligate' scene, which is much praised among fans, but will soon be revealed as that bloke out of Coronation Street with a bucket on his head talking to a Christmas tree painted black.

Oh, I'm sure the story is out there somewhere.
I read an amusing one, quite some time ago now, where the cybermen had sex with Doctor Grace from the TV Movie, and Peri.

There's at least one complete episode of 'D.M.P.' left, probably more. There were 12 episodes proper and a prequal. However one part 'Feast of Steven' is probably unrecoverable as it was the least copied of all.

What's so nice about the episode in question is that it features Nicholas Courtney as Bret Vyon, and he's a bit of a legend amongst Who actors.

'D.M.P.' is great by the way and for sale for ?11.99 over at Amazon. Well worth getting, almost a proto-Blakes 7 in places.
