Love the Dredd figure; do you have a photo of the Rogue Trooper figure?

Legendary Shark, I'm slowly (when work allows) reading through this 300 page topic. I know you're probably not in much of a mood to share my levity; but the post about the police stopping you and pulling you on to the Stockbridge is priceless....wish I'd been there. The discussion on the intrinsic nature of money is fascinating, and here's me thinking this site was going to be geeky discussions on the dimensions of Stallones Dredd uniform codpiece.
Again best regards for Monday....f**k them and launch the TAD's!

Hi Legendary Shark, I'm a new poster on forum. I've read this topic with interest. Firstly, my heartfelt wishes in respect of your situation, hope it goes as well as these things can. Secondly in a more general sense, it pains me that the bulk of people in this country are being financially extripated in order to bail out a bunch of elitest scumbags from their ponzi scheme. Thirdly in regard to the May legislation; it's just another arrow in these creatures quiver. They will in extremis do anything to maintain the current stasis (loaded in their favour)....water cannon, they'd shoot people off the street if they thought it necessary.

Bongo_Clive, I'm in the middle of a similar process to you. One of the posters mentioned Judgement Day as first tie in (I think followed by the whole Mechanismo/Wilderlands storyline). I'll be keeping a close eye on this thread for a definitive steer.
Ps was Meltdown Man really that bad.

Jesus, I'm on a couple of days off on leave and this is my second or third post of the day so far(must have caught the bug).
I'm currently listening to a San Fernando punk duo (2 sisters aged 14 and 17) called Dog Party. Absolutely love them; they do a cracking cover of the Ramones tune: Questioningly on Utube.

Listening to Newsnight last night. Paxman introduced an article on the gravitation of wealth, monies and talent to London with the term Mega City 1. Interesting how this term has become part of mainstream terminology.

Wow, Starlord, that brings back fond memories. The initial Ezquera art for Strontium Dog was breath taking. The real sense of otherness shaped to a great extent my formative years.
I came back on board last year and whist loathe to criticize the great Ezquera; the artwork on Strontium Dog now seems tired and lacking that sense of a warped and strange future. The pics of the mutants tied to posts and lazered through the head in the first Feral story (I think the artist was Steve Pugh)  got across the callous brutality of the reality of rebellion than the new strip really has or I fear is likely to.
This is a personal opinion; not a cheap insult. Carlos Ezquera in his day was a truly formidable, imaginative force of nature.

Hello everyone, good to eventually join the premier forum of my favourite comic.
I read 2000ad for many years up until prog 959 when the 95 movie came out and it kinda drained the will out of me.
I went on spec to see Dredd in September 12 and was so impressed, I then bought prog 1806 a few weeks later and have been utterly hooked since.
I have spent the past year and some adding to the  4 - 500 old progs I kept in the attic and am proud to say I now have all 1863 progs and all bar 30 or so of the Megazines.
I hope to initially get to know the forum and its members and then contribute positively.
