I love this.

When I met Brian Blessed a few years ago I was lucky enough to have a chat and I was shocked at how small he is now  - and also, how quiet he is when not on stage.

Which makes sense, of course!

Lovely, lovely man.

It's a tough one but Talbot's tenure might be my very favourite Nemesis books.

Pure gothic sci-fi loveliness.

Huge kudos to David Roach (and maybe others) for keeping on the trail of the original art - the only possible unintentional downside is that it might plant the idea that this is the future of Apex editions.

Do we know exactly why there's extra pages?

Is it a case of David Roach finding more after the HC came and went?

Not a great look in many ways as it could stop people getting the initial editions in case more pages pop up?

I loved the fact the show was absolutely rammed with Northern actors and their accents.

For King and country, cock!

The Musketeers (BBC) - it's on iPlayer and is still massively enjoyable.

Faithful to the books, yet not at times, this was unfairly ignored, I always thought.

A recent Xmas binge of the whole lot (3 series, 30 episodes in total) flew by.  Huge fun.

Anyone know if Colin Wilson is still doing commissions?

I've looked online and on his site but can't seem to find any details.

Thanks!

Issue #1 was so popular the day it came out (a Saturday, IIRC?) at the comic shop where I worked that I was quickly dispatched that very morning to empty all the surrounding newsagents' stock of it, just to keep the regular customers happy.

The subsequent sales after that were massively lower.

I guess that's one of my main memories - the initial excitement and the speed at which is dissipated.

I always loved Dare, and I say this as a life-long Dan fan!

That said, I understand why the customer got upset with it.

Anyone remember the True Faith trade paperback coming out?  Didn't it get "banned"?
