Books & Comics / Flashman
17 April, 2006, 05:26:14 AM
How do!

I'm half way through a Flashman book by George Macdonald Fraser.
Now, i'm sure i'm miles behind as he's been  writing them for decades,
but i've never read any before. Are there any fans here?
Read a while back that Steve Coogan would love to make a Flashman film.
I can sort of see it working but he may be a bit too skinny to play flashman.

cheers!

General / bright yellow 2000ad t shirt!
10 February, 2006, 12:15:44 AM
how do!
hope all are well!
If anyone is browsing in waterstones or any other high street book shop you may like to check out a book called 'vintage t-shirts',theres a great  2000ad t shirt in there!
Looks like an entertaining book, but it reminded me of some the pretty diabolical band t shirts i've worn in the past!

cheers!

General / shaun of the dead
07 November, 2003, 03:28:47 AM
hello!

got myself a copy of hotdog today,
it had an article about this new film from the spaced team, looks like a great cast and i love spaced.Does anyone here know anymore about this?i have high hopes.
oh and its got zombies in it.

also (and this unrelated)i've been rereading some asterix books and they're great!i loved them as a nipper but i've had a block for many years and could never get past page 2,but i've finally broken through and it feels great!
so i was wondering if any of you had suffered this same 'block' with once loved books/ comics/albums/foodstuffs ?

cheers,

steve roberts.............
