I'm reliably informed that the next EE has started plopping onto doormats and reprints the Slaying of Slade. A welcome release after forever of sports stories, and a Slade story I've not previously read. Hoorah.

Good, but doesn't that pretty much kill any chance of Robo-Hunter Vol. 4?

DavidXBrunt

Nope, don't think so. There's the Invasion collection after all. It might mena it's more likely as all the repro work has been done already out of the ee budget and therefore the book would be more profitable?

Or it might be a political move after the fall out with Ian Gibson...

Either way I read it this morning and it was great. Even teh filler 'Maze Dumoir' was good. Did we see more of her after this?

I think that strip was a trial run to justify a longer Gibson strip with a female lead, a warm up to Halo Jones.

Was there much more of her to see? ; )

'The Amazing Maze Dumoir' is one of my favourite 2000AD shorts - good to see it getting an airing.

I think crappy sales of vols 1-3 already did that. However, if the EE sells, there's some chance of a final Slade trade. So, everyone buy 50 copies!
