I watched this last night. Didn't think it was very good. Worse then the first one, which I thought was OK.

I did like the ending but it seemed a little too tidy, especially for a show so unpredictable.

[spoiler]The only reason Walt doesn't get shot by the Nazi's is so Jack can prove to him that he's not Jesse's partner, was to me a bit weak. The actual gun scene was pretty cool though. [/spoiler]

Yeah, the only time i've really noticed the poor quality was the blu-ray.

has anybody got the news letter about the Dredd sequel petition yet? Said it was about to go out on the fb page, still not got it.

I liked the first one, but didn't think this was very good.

Can digital films be restored/improved like films on film have been for blu-ray restorations?

[Cutter's Way]

Cutter's Way, in which PTSD suffering war veteran John Heard smells a way to extort some cash from a local businessman when Heard's mate Jeff Bridges figures the businessman might be the person who murdered a high school cheerleader.  The plan does not unfold as hoped.
It's a pretty squalid crime drama that seeks out new ground amongst some familiar noir tropes and Heard is great as the angry, one-armed, one-eyed, barely two-legged racist drunkard with a violent streak, while Bridges seems a bit of a vapor, but then he would considering how the deck is stacked in favor of Heard when it comes to quirks.  The pace is slow overall, but the resolution is clever.
A neat find, this, as I'd never even heard of it before.  Worth a watch if you come across it.

Saw this recently myself. My mate just said it was pretty much the big lebowski haha. Must admit it did have some similarities.

However, it sparked a discussion about the strong female roles in it, something close to her heart.

They didn't turn her into some super-sexy evil vixen.

She is still super sexy though.

Just watched my blu-ray for the first time as I now have a blu ray player.

I got the UK version and I think the quality is really bad. Was quite disappointed actually.

Still, film kicks ass.

True, but still, lionsgate could at least share the thing.

I hope the decision makers show sort of recognition soon. Even a "we're considering it" I think would get the buzz flowing again.

Or Karl Urban doing a little youtube video with his Dredd helmet on telling people to support the page would be ace.

think we'll need more then 75,000 signs. Shame the Dredd page run by lionsgate hasn't bothered sharing it.
