I wasn't sure of Alpha's face initially, but it really does work with the hair. I probably wouldn't have made the hair quite so bushy but he is sometimes depicted that way.

Curious about the choice of two smaller blasters too. Based on different designs from the comics, I guess. An  unexpected but very nice touch.

Shoulder pads should be a bit less shiny, maybe, but only overall a smashing figure. There'll possibly be changes, but I'd be pretty happy with that.

One thing I find curious: Johnny has a knife, despite not using one all that often. Not a problem, but.... Dredd is still sans his 'Boot knife!' in two figures. Both Dredd figures are nice, but that does strike me as odd...

I thought I was antsy about 3A's Judge Dredd delays, but some are getting downright pissy.

That back shot of Dredd is interesting.  It looks like the removable mags might be key in getting/keeping the Lawgiver in the boot holster.

Johnny Alpha is at prototype stage at the moment so there's no pricing known at the moment.

The giant Dredd (1/6th scale vs Alpha at 1/12th scale) is up for pre-order here (Click!) for USD $200.

To be honest, if the delay is a consequence of improving the face sculpt then I'm cool with the delay.
