Wake's latest (excellent) Dredd badges made me wonder...what's the shortest Judges's name ever to appear on a badge?

Well, I did my own Photoshopped Judge badge (who hasn't?!!) and stuck my monikker on it. HdE - that's pretty short. It's not Hu or Ng short, but it's still pretty short.

Lookin at it another way, how does Justice Dept deal with long names, like for example, the fabulous Indian surname of Chandramouleeswaran?

I'm fairly sure that there's a Judge Fox in one of the stories featuring Kraken.

There are loads of Judges running around Mega City One with no names on their badges, especially in those DC issues.

My mistake, it was Judge Vix in part 2 of "Tale of the Dead Man".

IIRC, in Cursed Earth Koburn, Judge Bonaventura just had 'BVENTURA' on her badge.

Well, going the Photoshop route, I did a few Judge badges for other users on DA - strictly for fun, you understand. A few long names come up, which is where I discovered that medium font sizes and free transform are your friends!

Which still doesn't alter the fact that they were an almighty pain at times.

Thank goodness I never had to do one for Judge Cheevapravatdrumrong!

It is a standard Badge if you are a Psi Judge.

Hu's a Judge?

Yes, and not only does she have the shortest name in the Justice department, but she's also notable for being one of the few Judges with offspring (her son, Furst) allowed to remain in the job.  She's usually partnered with a similar offender, Judge Eiidohno.

You've probably heard the talk around Justice Central about "Hu's son Furst and Eiidohno's son Sekund."
