I was pretty horrified seeing those trucks as they are yesterday morning but I dunno what happened. Was thinking about it last night and just kept thinking about Escape From New York and how well it works as a low-budget dystopian future by showing you virtually next to nothing. Think this might all be alright. Guess what reassured me was driving to work this morning and seeing the LAPD 'ghetto-bird' circling in the distance and thinking even if they use helicopters as H-Wagons for the movie, it'll work okay...

Plus I keep forgetting Dredd was originally set in the 2070s and as frightening as it is to the six year old who read his older brother's 2000ads (for Flesh, naturally!) in 1977, 2070's not that fucking far away now, is it...? Pretty sure we're actually NOT going to have flying cars by then...

yeah well... still not excited here.   It all looks a bit cheap to me. Maybe I'm missing the point? Even the graffiti looks very old hat. Not sure if further photo's shall sway me otherwise. It appears to be on a trajectory which is unlikely to waver from what we have so far seen. Anyway, I'm sure my ticket sale loss and likely grumbling during the film wont be missed by anyone. I'll try keep an open mind. But I have this sinking feeling you get when you drop some acid and it does nothing after an hour!

I saw this as a foreground with a massive structure behind it lit up like a Christmas tree. No sky, and after effects a plenty. Not everyone can see it though.

HAHAHA!!!! True! That has been known to happen. Nothing worse than the Chinese Lanterns turning out to be the cardboard  striker cut from the side of a box of matches....
