Forum’s Favourite Thrill - Diaboliks vs. O’Rork Round 2 Heat 107

Three weeks and counting and some interesting thrills appear. Ones that I think are great and widely loved but might have one factor or another that might stop them going as far as they otherwise might? This Round I'm not sure this will be tested toooo much but good to see how they will fare.

So we missed a Cabs spin-off local derby by the spin of one... well randomly generated computer pick. I'm probably relieved that Absalom avoided The Diaboliks but it would have been a top draw tie. As it is, those devilish villains get O'Rork instead which is... less interesting...

Match ends early on the morning of Friday April 22nd and the winner gets a place in Round 3 (of 9!!!).

Diaboliks is pretty much just Caballistics cont but with a slightly revised cast and different artists, who manage to capture the feel of Dom Reardon's art, without actually being him.

As for O'Rork - sorry I don't remember it.

Diaboliks is objectively better and has great art but for some reason I don't feel invested - I think I just don't like the characters and kind of actively want them to fail! Also do we know why the strip is called Diaboliks other than that it looks cool? It sounds like a team name but I don't think they have a team name do they? There wasn't much O'Rork but I dug the energy in Lol's art so feck it,

Quite quiet here, this one not really kicking up much of a fuss and to date looking very straightforward. One day to change that and I'll count up in the morning.

Diaboliks is horrible, but I suppose it's meant to be. What I think about it shifts and changes, but I'd sooner read it than O'Rork, which is another slice of near nothing from the past.
