That's my take - that, and Al has finally started taking the pills his doctor prescribed, as Go Machine, even with graphic dismemberment and bloodletting on the very first page ("And there goes the jaw!") is more restrained than I would have expected going by his riotous small press outings and Future Shocks.

Adrian Bamforth

"BTW, Ade - was that a sneaky Fat Slags cameo in the Future Shock? :-)"

Well the way I see it is the Viz people themselves say the Fat Slags are everywhere and in every town, so by their own reckoning it's not infringement.

I didn't really get the twist either.

ADE

Dudley

I had presumed it was a deliberate homage to Mark Millar's Robohunter story, "Ace of Slades".

Bico

I presume the Viz people are happy that the Slags have shown up in something other than the medium of film.

Has anyone actually seen that movie?

Eric Plumrose

Bico
