Big week this one, not just as we have some interesting ties and a couple of big name thrills, well at least in my eyes. Mainly though as we hit a very significant milestone, one I'll talk (or have talked about... copy and paste a lot here!) more about Tuesday...
Our second dose of Anderson this week - only just spotted that coincidence! And against the second thrill I could roll out the cliche of being a torchbearer for the modern Prog. gosh its all getting a bit repetitive isn't it! That said Brass Sun begs for another of Broodbliks 'Sideshow votes' - which thrill would we rather have in the Prog Brink or Brass Sun? But for now we need to focus on which we'd rather have in Round 3 between

Vs
Brass Sun - more info (http://www.2000ad.org/?zone=thrill&page=profiles&choice=brass)
Just reply in this thread naming your favourite thrill of these two series at the beginning of your post (or use Bold tags so I can spot it easily) and say what you like about these wonderful stories after that.
Match ends early on the morning of Saturday April 2nd and the winner gets a place in Round 3 (of 9!!!).
What on Earth is ALL of this? (https://forums.2000ad.com/index.php?topic=48011.0)
For those that need 'um and can be bothered to follow 'um there's some simple rules (https://forums.2000ad.com/index.php?topic=48011.msg1070150#msg1070150)
Any questions, just ask as ever - and have FUN

Brass Sun.
(Re: "which thrill would we rather have in the Prog Brink or Brass Sun?" Brink by several country miles. And it has to be draw by Culbard. Having watched the Brink panel it's clear he is a major part of the creative process and it just wouldn't be the same with another artist. Which makes me wonder about Proteus Vex - Jake Lynch is doing such a cracking job but I guess it would look different if Henry Flint was still drawing it.)
Brass Sun for its fantastic worldbuilding.
Brass Sun
Not the biggest fan of Brass Sun (the stories we were promised seemed far more entertaining than the stories we got; and of course it's unfinished, because it's Edginton) but you can't deny its imagination and world- building.
Cadet Anderson is just... normal Anderson, but full of continuity errors and with even less inspiration or forward progression. A prequel series that told us nothing new about the character or the city. A bit of a waste of everyone's time.
Cadet Anderson.
Not sure why the tales told needed to be prequels but they were a lot of fun.
I can't stand Anderson, and would be happy if she never appeared in either comic ever again. So, Brass Sun.

Cadet Anderson was a low point for two erstwhile platinum coated Droids.

This. And while I find Brass Sun's stalling hugely frustrating, I'd like to see more. Cadet Cass can and should stay in her past (bar, possibly, for Regened).
Brass Sun.
Cheers
I've only read the first couple of stories in Brass Sun but they're far more exciting that Cadet Cass has been so Brass Sun
Brass Sun, whose only flaw is that it's been left to wither on the vine.
Brass Sun
I didn't like either of these Thrills and have been considering my vote carefully.
Whilst the criticisms of it's irrelevance are valid, I'm going with Cadet Anderson purely on the basis of the Carlos / Goddard art.

Cadet Anderson
Brass Sun all the way and back again. Cadet Anderson, as stated, didn't seem to add anything beyond giving Grant license to tell some more Anderson stories with a slight variation on the sources of her internal angst. Most were decent enough, but even that fine roster of artist couldn't make any of it memorable. Honestly, if this week's draw had gone just a bit differently I'd be voting Janus over Cadet Anderson with no hesitation.

Strong words!
Not quite the universal hailing of Brass Sun I'd have gone with, but still a confident performance as we go into the final day and it seems prepare to lose out second Anderson of the week. I'll count up tomorrow morning.
VOTING CLOSED
While this might not have been the celebration of Brass Sun I was expecting (personal bias and all that) this was comfortable. And its confirmed this as a bad week for Mrs Anderson's little girl as two interations of her tales have fallen in just two days. Still her main series will be there in Round 3 where it will join
Brass Sun
that runs the rail into the next round.
