Thanks Colin. As I mentioned before, after a hiatus from posting here for a while it was the tourneys that reeled me back in. Fun to read others opinions and shared facts etc. while unloading my own thoughts as well on 2000AD writers, artists, series etc. Keep em coming!

GREAT to hear Rob speak so warmly of the forum and remind us of our most important purpose.

Convincing new members that there's an entrance fee and quietly pocketing the PayPal receipts...?

Did I say that out loud?

Just glad PayPal takes Galactic Groats, money well spent.

The podcast crossover month begins with the fabulous Fox from Space Spinner 2000 and that giant ant attack from 1978. Minor spoilers for the ending of a terrific bit of early 2000AD schlock.

And listen out for a change in the playout music in honour of Fox and Conrad's podcast.

Wow can't remember seeing Ant Wars pages before and they are lovely. But Ant Wars pages without... well giant ants... I couldn't. Whoever can and does will have great pages though.

Edit: Of there was a page on Art Droids (visa Comic Art Fans)

Those are stunning pages and that first one, without ants set in the jungles is just superb... he says flip flapping on his previous comments!

The fact that all three are being sold in a single auction mean it will fly so far past my range (I suspect) that there's little point me getting my hopes up...

Speaking of which the same seller has the cover of issue 14 up

Its a day for hairy arthropoda!

ooh, yeah - be interesting to see how much this one goes for. I've nabbed the ebay images for the blog (for posterity) and will update the post below with a final sales price
