General / T-shirts

Hi,

I saw a couple of t-shirts in Forbidden Planet the other day (One Dredd Mugshot by Henry Flint, and another one by   Jock).

These aren't in the online shop on this site, and I forgot to take a look who made them - does anyone know if there are others out there?

Thanks,

Steve

It will be interesting to see how this is received...

I don't think the technical side is an issue for Dredd any more, it's more the problem of marketing it and how much of the violence would have to be watered down.

If it did go CGI I would base it on Block Mania era McMahon/Henry Flint style.

Hi,

does anyone know if Stephen Moore is going to do the voice of Marvin? He's not mentioned on the credits (just Warwick Davis) but I can't imagine anyone else doing it really...

Hi,

it's an animated series on BBC Three (but gets a repeat on BBC Two).

It's a sketch show, some recurring characters, fairly twisted...

There's a bit about the new series up there now...

(The playlist section may be a bit spoilery though)

the new series starts on 4th Jan looking at the listings on Digiguide...

I haven't seen any of the other sketches, but our stuff was fun to do - basically it's divided up between different groups of people, recurring characters would be given to the same group (we were doing a new character) and a couple of standalone sketches, but I didn't have any contact with the other guys...

Hope you enjoy it, I've only seen our stuff edited with dialogue (no sound effects or music) so it will be cool to see it all put together.

Cheers

There should be a new series on BBC 3 in Jan/Feb.

I worked on about five minutes worth (backgrounds, some 3D stuff.)

I think it'd have to be robot based...

Ro-busters or ABC Warriors or Robohunter

Ace Trucking Co. or Dr and Quinch might be weird enough...

The Predator/arm/Arachnophobia goofs wouldn't have shown up in the cinema. A lot of films which are shot 1.85:1 are shot open frame then matted at the cinema, so the screw-up isn't meant to be seen. When it's transferred to home video, they often remove the matte, to fill a regular screen but it often ends up showing stuff you weren't meant to see...

So there you go...

Channel 5 have decided that they are going to show two weeks of Cosmetic Surgery Live in the 11pm slot... so instead of Vic Mackey you get Vanessa Feltz (which is probably scarier...)

The Shield returns on 2nd October...

I thought the Fred West outfit in the Dredd story was a nice touch - I missed it on the first read...

Hi,

I managed to pick up a few old progs recently which had some old SD strips and wondered if there was any market/plans for some SD reprints or collections?

Considering the amount of other material out there, there doesn't seem to be much SD stuff.

Is there any chance of seeing some of the multi-parters, like the Ragnorak Job, Outlaw, The Killing, Rage etc. either collected or in the Meg?

Cheers
