I had a reply to a query about why there has been no new offer for pre-purchase for Volume 6
pf the Trigan Empire the reply is below from 2000AD

I can say that one is coming but I can't say as we had to push this back to next year.
I apologise for the lack of solid information but the details for this title are still being worked out as we speak "

Good to know there is actually going to be a volume 6!
I have added up the pages still to be printed ( till April 1982 )
its actually 424 pages - All the series inclusing
The Abdication ( Oliver Frey ) 19th March to 7th May 1977
was printed in Volume 5
