Surprisingly good effects and sets and a nice creepy atmosphere.

This episode is written by Steve Thompson. Looks like it's his first 'Who' but he wrote an episode of 'Sherlock' which I enjoyed.

Looking forward to this one!

Interestingly, on the Doctor Who website, there's a big feature on 'The Lodger' from last series. It looks to me like events from this episode are going to play a bigger part in the current series than just simple fore-shadowing of 'The Silence'.
