Still really boring with dull characters & stories. Do the creators actually have a clear idea where this show is going?
I'd check the settings on my TV, if I were you.
It seems to be picking up 20-plus year-old episodes of Star Trek Voyager.

Bad set up? There was plenty set up with lots of interesting places to take it. Sadly Mr Johnson chose to ignore it. At least he had the good sense not to leave any interesting plot threads or develop things in any meaningful way. Audiences can't be upset by what happens next as there are no cliffhangers or any tantilising plot threads.
Quote from: TordelBack on 03 January, 2018, 02:20:02 PMI'm one of the 'unhappy fans' who actually lthought Luke's character was interesting, theoretically, but like everything else in this movie it was poorly executed. What a mess of a movie!
"This is not going to go the way you think".
Well he got that right. But what exactly did unhappy fans expect from Luke in TLJ?

Really enjoy it, sort of Shakespeare Comedy,
And that woman from My Parents Are Aliens would left me if I watch that show again after this episode.

Much as I like Black Mirror, I always get the impression that the tale could be told in half the time.
Callister was ok just a bit drawn out and, once the "twist of who the real baddie was, didn't seem to have anywhere to go other than the actual resolution. Did I miss something?
Quote from: Richard on 31 December, 2017, 06:54:28 PMYes. Because that whole plot line went nowhere & felt like something from the prequels. & there would have been no need for that plot if Holdo hadn't kept her plan secret for unknown reasons.
Would the film really be improved by cutting out the casino and the alien horse chase?
