Classifieds / Hunting for Dark World Creations figures
14 October, 2019, 01:45:50 PM
It's a long shot I know, but as I managed to pick up Dredd on Lawmaster from an ad on here that was 3 years old, I'll give it a go!

Looking for the Death 1:10 bust, Anderson 1:10 bust, Jusge Fire 70mm, and Hammerstien figure.  Ideally would be in box and unpainted, but would consider any condition if anyone has spares, or just wants to shift them on.  Drop me a PM if you've anything to offer!

Ta.

Yep, that's the creature.  Should be a by law allowing the slaughter of such animals.

That some folks are still unaware who Russell Whiteside really is.  Jack Russell Porter, the NI Toy Guy, call him what you will.... I call him PEADOPHILE.  A convicted one at that.  I don't blame those who fall for his shit, I did... I even employed the cunt for a wee while on a job in NI.  But it stuns me that now the truth is out, it is not shouted from the rooftops for all to hear.  Let us never again allow this animal to lurk in our presence.

Don't recollect any proclivities from Sid other than murder.... although in the latest mega collection he did seem a bit fixated on the lass Cass had inhabited in Half life.... still...no reason why a mass murdering sociopath undead geezer couldn't have been a bit fruity I guess! ;)

Cover: Bold and attention grabbing, nice.

Droid Life: Dad joke humour abounds.

Dredd: Still not sure I'm buying PJ's change of sexual orientation from being so unable to relate to humans he was in love with a sex doll to the rampant bi sex pest, but then again, folk do change, so ok.  Plus, the voice in the head, written in the black bubbles.... could it be some kind of hangover from his time with the DJ's?  Guess that'd be enough to prompt some changes in anyone.

Scarlet Traces:  Still doing nowt for me.

3Rillers:  Second bite was good, so now if we get a good payoff, we could have the first truly decent one since they began?  We'll see.

Outlier: Why does someone always have to piss and moan about destroying a planet?  Pah!  Cut of the hand to save the arm and all that!  But aye, still enjoying this, if marginally more for the art than the tale itself.

Anderson: Still not sure how I feel about the art, I like it and dislike it on a moment to moment basis, but I guess that's better than just disliking it right off the bat.  Tale shaping up nicely.

Cover:  Eye catching.

Dredd:  Progressing well.

Scarlet Traces:  Nah.

3rillers:  Good start.

Outlier: Continues to hold my attention.

Anderson, Psi Division:  Another good start, but not sure if I dig the Faux Cam style yet.... will judge in a couple of weeks.

 :o

Loving the figures!  If the costumes are anything as good (which I fully expect they will be based on same/similar files/scans) then you look like you'll be surpassing even the excellent 'Minty'.  Bloody well done!

Garibaldi was always my favorite, as his flaws I could relate to so well.  A great character, a damn fine actor, and I don't doubt, a decent geezer. :(

General / Re: How did you discover Judge Dredd?

I know I had read the occasional issue before I started proper collecting at around prog 500, never really had either cash/time/inclination till that point, but my earliest memory of 'Judge Dredd' would have been in a Sinclair Spectrum game called 'Car Wars' that had one building that said 'Judge Dredd' on top... you just inherintly knew you had to blow that shit up before you done anything else!  I assume it was either a developers easter egg, or some kind of indicator that it was a law enforcement building.
