So after so much faffling in the over complex qualifying we get down to the top end action as the last 16 face-off and we begin with 2 games from Group 1. As ever though...

Loved the seeing the interactions between Dredd and Johnny in Top Dog, and the fantastic MacNeil art...but the Killing is one of the best, Johnny and Wulf on top of their bounty hunting game!

Tough one this I really enjoy The Killing. Its a striaght out cool action piece. There is however something so special about Top Dog. It could have been a trite exercise in throwing two characters (well three) together for the heck of it but the combination of art, wit and astonishing script meant to rose above that and earned every bit of the fun it gave us. So on that basis

The Killing. As much as Outlaw is my personal favourite, the Killing has to be the quintessential SD story.

I know, I said the Killing as my answer - but I had said on one of the Outlaw threads that it was my favourite storyline so wanted to explain in case anyone thought I was contradicting myself! I was probably overthinking it though! :D
