I ended up enjoying Butcher Baker very much. Will definitely give this a shot.

I'll have to add Cameron Stewart's Niro, and Box Brown's Andre The Giant bio to my list. Plus Xander Cannon's Heck & Kevin Cannon's Crater XV being collected in hardcover!

I will definitely check out Monster Pulse. Looks fun!

I didn't dig the first few chapters of Insufferable, but I've been meaning to go back and see if I can get it into it now. I never could get into Dr. McNinja, but Oglaf looks kind of awesome.

Re: graphic novels. Agreed on the Absalom, and a few others. But technically they don't fit the rules I set for the category, as they have been previously printed. They would technically fit into the reprint category, but for that I usually pick collections that either haven't seen the light of day in a long time, or have some sort of deluxe or absolute format.

Did no one get issue 1 of the new Godzilla ongoing? Not a character (well that's not really the term is it but it'll have to do) I have any real affection for, though why I'm not looking for an ongoing monster book as I try to diversify my reading escapes me! Anyway just had a nosy at a preview

Looks fun and love that art, reminds me of Paul Grist a  bit. So I was wondering if anybody had picked it up, maybe I should be trying this book?
