Just back from taking my daughter to the cinema and I think the Lego Batman Movie might be the best superhero movie of the last 10 years. It skewers the inherent silliness better than Deadpool while still being a very satisfying action movie. Older viewers will also get a kick out of the many references to comics and films past. Definitely worth a trip to the cinema, even if you don't have a young kid.

It's also a brave move on Warner/DC's part. I wonder if the parody is so effective that it effectively means that they'll need to find new ways to use the character.

I've just re-read Oz and I'm puzzled by the Judda's teleporters. Were these ever used again or were they ditched by Wagner et al?

They look like a narrative dead-end to my untrained eye, since their use would make many plots redundant.

Hello! Back reading the prog again after a long absence. I started reading it around 1990 (if that was when Necropolis was running) and I think the last time I bought it regularly was back in the mid-90s. Since then I've been reading US comics but, with the exception of Prophet, I struggled to find anything new to enjoy in the last couple of years. I set up a subscription back in October and have enjoyed every prog since.

I'm also seriously impressed with Rebellion's publishing operation and with the care they're taking with the old material. Other publishers could learn a lot.
