For what it's worth, my comment wasn't intended to be a dig at or criticism of you Jayzus. Just genuine amusement.

I'm neither British nor a monarchist but I'm very sorry for Britain's loss - as monarchs go they didn't get much better than her.

Got to be honest here Jayzus, it's absolutely hilarious reading your forum signature straight after this post.

I can just about summon up some sympathy for her and the family as people but it's long past time this while toxic, regressive system was torn down and consigned to the dustbin of history.

I don’t think there’s any way to do this. With Progs, you can add a FirstProg and LastProg value to the URL but Megs don’t work the same way because of the volumes.

But only one has names its characters with puns. Plus, I use "your mouth is full of wrong" in real life.
Venus Bluegenes?

Very difficult one. Strontium Dog

Way of the Tiger: Inferno!

So: this book wasn't as bad as I'd heard, but it wasn't great. What was helpful is that in the original printing I understand that this indeed marked as THE END, whilst in my newer edition it simply says something like 'you're doomed, unless you can escape..?' and finishes there. For the gamebook player of 1987 this must have seemed an appalling end to the series, and I can see why a final book was commissioned.
Fairly certain I didn't realise it was really the end and assumed there'd be another one along shortly.

This is always fun- especially as people usually mention the same ones, which makes you wonder just what the hell that ad companies involved were thinking, and how they managed to get it so wrong.
They're thinking: this will get people talking about our client's product.
