Title: Nope, Thrill-Mail droid, that's wrong.
Post by: M.I.K. on 28 April, 2016, 05:54:59 PM
Contrary to this week's Thrill-Mail, Anna Ford was not the first female newsreader in the UK in 1978, she was just the first one at ITN.

Angela Rippon's even in Prog 1, for drokk's sake... Use yer ram-sticks!

(Actual first Female UK newsreader was Nan Winton, back in 1960, if you're wondering.)

Huh, I stand corrected .... and will blame The Daily Mail, the root of all evil, for it was they who led me astray there!

Scratch that... Turns out that's not accurate either, (stupid internet...). First female national newsreader in the UK was Barbara Mandell, (at ITN, no less), back in 1955.

Tch... 'Facts', eh?

Yeah this apparent innocent mistake has seemingly unearthed a dark underbelly to the Nerve Centre. Since when has the mail be used to check facts... since when has the Daily Mail had any relationship with fact come to that.

Molch-R you have much to explain.

He even accepts it's the root of all evil.

Is the Nerve Centre a satanic hub?
