For anyone as shit with money as I am, I really recommend downloading this as an mp3 and listening to it as you drive, work, sit in a doorway shaking a McDonald's paper cup at people, etc.
It's for a US audience so things like pensions and home ownership are different this side of the pond, but still invaluable advice all the way.

Got to my newsagent this afternoon and she'd saved this (http://www.ourmathematicalworld.co.uk/) for me.
It's a fairly nice hardback book and, even though the paper is not glossy and all the interior illustrations are either black and white or grey scale, it is packed with information and, I think, will build into a very desirable collection. The first volume is worth £1.99 of anybody's money.
