Well, it's served me well but it's finally bitten the dust. Still works as a mouse of sorts but the pressure sensitivity keeps going, just not registering it.

Unless of course any boarders fancy parting with an intuos for s stupidly reasonable price, I can only afford another bamboo just now, and wondered if anyone could recommend a good online source for a replacement. I saw some factory refurbished models - anyone know if they're a safe bet?

Thanks folks.

Are you sure it isn't the pen that's gone?

I had some sensitivity issues just a while back and went to the Wacom Forums where there seemed to be someone with similar trouble to me. I bought a new Digital pen for £60 I think. Better than £300 for a new Intuos Tablet. I'm the bloke named CYBERSLOB.

Does the Wacom Mouse work but not the Pen? If so then it's probably the Pen.

Try rolling back the driver if you're already using the most up-to-date version.  If you aren't, try installing the newest driver.

Another thing to watch out for is if it's just the pressure sensitivity in currently-running art apps that's copped out rather than in the tablet itself.  Photoshop can occasionally stop recognising pressure sensitivity on my pc, but I restart the app and the sensitivity returns.  Manga Studio did this the odd time, too.
