Judge Death sounds exactly like the computer Hal from the film 2001, A Space Odyssey.

Uncanny similarity.

He doesn't sound how I imagined but it does work.

Death's voice is chilling in a calm way.
In fact it's more probably more disturbing than a traditional scary voice.

Once you get over the initial surprise, I think Mark Gatiss delivers the goods.

Actually I was conducing a bizarre esoteric ritual that will cause his cat Shooshi to explode (or meet some other terrible fate) in revenge for listening to all his rot in the chat room last night.
