I'm with Trout on Burns work. He's an excellent artist, and has the ability to convey mood and atmoshere seemmingly with the smallest of effort. Go back and look at it again you simple fools!

Prog / Re: seen HULK?

Sorry D.D., but I didn't really like it. Apart from a few nice little touches such as the split screen comic effect and a new twist on the Hulk's origins, it was a bit of a long drawn out affair. Perhaps this is in light of X2, but the pacing seemed to me to be very poor.

I don't think there will be many kids who could sit patiently while they hold on for over an hour for some decent Hulk action, I know I found it difficult ;) That said, it is really just a scene setter and I'm hoping that the inevitable sequel will be better. Incidentally, that was Stan Lee talking to Lou.

"You could tell he was heartbroken about the character...

I think that was a typo. It should have read:

You could tell he was heartbroken about his career...

And Dave Gibbons and Ian Kennedy. I know, I know... technically they worked on Ro-Busters, but surely their interpretations deserve a mention?

Incidentally, I successfully predicted who was going to die when Jo Rowling announced there would be a death, but unfortunately didn't put an extremely large bet on it. Bugger!

I very nearly posted a spoiler here early this morning after popping down to WH Smiths for their Harry Potter midnight opening and rapidly flicking through my copy to the chapter in question, before deciding not to just in case anyone couldn't resist looking.

Anyway there's an E-mail on it's way Dane. If anyone else wants to know drop me a line.

I prefer Muse to Radiohead you know. They're just like Radiohead, except they don't drag their songs out beyond my pain threshold.

"And many of the little touches felt pretty old-fashioned. I mean, agents in black suits?"

Yes but on the plus side it did have a Japanese schoolgirl and "Mrs Brady, Old Lady" as evil alien villains and you can't really say that was un-original or old fashioned now can you?

You left the Italics on Jared. Nice rant though.
