Wow - the real one?

It makes the non-chronological listing of annuals seem (almost) forgivable.

Ok, so I kept them in the garden but it's only £1600, right?

You've a knack for unearthing these gems, Japandroid.
Is there an EBay search filter for 'obscenely overpriced comics'?

Bloody hell that's a bargain - well done that man.

I'd have a much larger pang of jealousy if it wasn't for the thoughts of storing these. Otherwise I'd be tracking down old Eagles (1982 version) like there was no tomorrow. Really want to read the Dan Dare stuff and even more so Doomlord (aside from the quite wonderful collection from Hibernia)

Mattofthespurs

Unfortunately they weren't in order so I spent a large portion of yesterday doing just that, putting them in order. Didn't help they they didn't start a numbering system until they were into three figures.

Originally got them for the Dan Dare and Doomlord stuff but once you get past the awful photo strip issues there is some good stuff in there.

Thinking I might get them bound as an experiment before getting the 2000 AD's bound.

Colin YNWA

But come on be honest how much fun must it have been sitting there putting them in order!

Getting stuff bound is someone on my dim and distant horizon. I saw some of Chiefy2shoes stuff a while ago and it was just glorious.

Mattofthespurs

Yeah, it was a bit  ;)

First time I had read Comrade Bronski drawn by Ezquerra.

Lots of 2000 AD stuff seems to have been reprinted as well including MACH Zero and MACH One, plus some nice Redondo artwork in there.

Lots more Tooth related stuff in this lot I'm sure.
