1st 2 volumes of 'Preacher', Brubaker's run on 'Catwoman', 'The Filth' by Grant Morrison (bound with a back-up story to fill it out,the 3 issue 'Ministry Of Space' also drawn by Chris Weston) and 'Lone Wolf 2100' (the much-underrated re-imagining of the classic Lone Wolf & Cub by Dark Horse, with another back-up strip, the 6 issue 'Lone').
Next up 'Captain Britain', 'Jack Staff', 'The Exterminators', 'Scalped', 'Criminal'.

'S nice an all good to look at on the shelf, but wouldn't it be cheaper to get the TPB's? I mean, sure, that way you miss out on the Lettercols, which is less of a problem nowardays, but still, annoying for a true completist...
Unless I'm missing the point and you actually bound those yourself with your own two hands, in which case, damn good work there Marbles.....
Aaaaaah, the joys of drunk posting Pt II...
oh, my god, books and dvds on the same shelf....aaaaahhhhhh!!!!!
cool
They look great.
What was the damage?
If you don't mind me asking.
Damage was £20 per volume. Basically I had a big promotion & pay rise at work and wanted to celebrate!
I don't intend to have too many of these done (I'll finish Preacher in 5 volumes & then slowly do the ones I've already listed above). I've been reading/collecting comics for 25 years so its nice to give the ones that are really special (to me anyway) pride of place on my bookshelf. Better than being stuck up in bags/boards/longboxes up in the loft anyway.
