Point of order: isn't that what we comics nerds are, by and large?

 Thats different !

"You're just pissed off because he won't let you have a go..."

Rumbled good and proper. Its a fair cop but society is to blame .

And there i was enjoying some gameplay [Rainbow Six Lockdown - simulated room clearing etc ] and enjoying using Phosphorous grenades and the AS9 rifle. [I dont think an AS9 rifle exists unfortunatly ].The good thing about the AS9 is the action is so fast. Its  fairly long range ,but is also good for close quarters with single/full auto fire modes with silencer and scope.

Just had a rethink about your comment and why i like comics.

I think the idea that comics /GNs call them what you will did start of being for kids but by the time 2000ad appeared they were starting to become a bit more adult. There arent really that many "Kids" comics these days and just going in Forbidden Planet recently there werent very many kids in there either.

So i think its a tired cliche that comics are for kids IMHO .Also i am a fan of comic art in general and i really dont regard it as any less worthy [more like the opposite] of any other form of art that you see in Galleries. Its the art establishment that is to blame for this as they seem to get more excited about conceptual art than beautifully drawn pencil and ink artwork.

I can enjoy something like Turner just as much as 2th artwork quite honestly.

My point wasn't that comics are childish, but rather that we are, and we do love our toys.
Nobody warned me I would be so awesome.
