Does anyone blog with blogger.com?

i've been wanting to get the tags sorted on my blog for ages now, so that some actual people will actually come across it on a google search and actually look at it instead of it gathering dust in a corner of the web.  but i'm new to all this and have no idea how to do them.  anyone got any clues?

The best tagged site in the world won't help if the content is duff. Just concentrate on writing something interesting and unique. If it's just a bunch of naval gazing (as my site is) don't expect too big of an audience.

that looks so cool.  mines a bit more...standard.  i haven't really got all this html stuff down either.  i (bravely) put a counter on it the other day and i was sure i was going to screw it all up.

Counters not looking to impressive, but if anyone would like to give it a boost...

but...but..but... navel gazing's the entire point of blogging, isn't it?!

I started tagging fairly random things, as time goes by I find certain tags crop up fairly naturally and regularly.

Beware of blog-obsession! A friend of mine went to the birthday party of a prominent blogger recently, and at one point a laptop was passed around so that everyone could check their stats. Which is wrong on so many levels.

On the "create post" page, just below the box where you write the post there's a little box titled "Labels for this post", you just type whatever tag you want in there. If you click on "Show all" it shows a list of all the tags you've used already.
