Scojo, while of course you know John Wagner's character better than John Wagner does, I'm really not sure whether you'll be taking over writing duties any time soon. I know you'd love Dredd's personality to be consistent with your own view of him, but sadly for you his crisis of conscience regarding the democracy movement can't really be made unhappen. It went on for years and led to his resignation, return and establishment of a referendum - so if the Dredd you know never questions the law he serves, then he's not the same Dredd as the guy in the comic.

you know the kicker for me is this could have been a good debate, with a review of the past that led to this decision and a stab at what the future might hold for Dredd and MC1.

Who's to say that in the years to come any action that is taken now won't lead to a more facist Dredd and MC1 as a back-lash to any changes that may take place.

The story of Mutants in Mega City One, and about Dredd cleaning up the facilities, has been printed and released in prog solicitations since January of this year, the delay in Origins meant the story has only appeared now. This info has been pasted on this forum and 2K review when the solicitations were first released, that's how I know.

If you weren't banned from actively participating on these forums maybe you would have seen the solicitations while posting?
