This was a very meh meg, nothing stood out for me. The Dredd tale falls into the superhero trap – you need a bigger monster to fight the big hero. Normally I like Devlin, but I just cannot get into this arc. Harrow Squad is readable, nothing more. DeMarco never really got off as a stand-alone strip. The meg is currently on a very low ebb, where is Lawless, Dreadnoughts, Megatropolis (last seen in 2021)?

Cradlegrave's art was by the late Edmund Bagwell

We all have to choose what works for you and what does not. As it stands currently I cannot see any reason for giving up on the prog. It has now even become a ritual when I get up early on Wednesday download the prog and read it before the big working slog starts. It is something the look out for me.

I have read Watchmen a few times but I still struggle to get it placed in my top 10. I cannot really put my finger to it and I might get "cancelled" here but I feel it is a bit overrated. The art as is always is top-notch from Gibbons

Quote from: Funt Solo on 13 March, 2024, 06:12:27 PMFor me, Regened just felt more and more bland the longer it went on. ..........

I agree with the bland statement. I also did not like the fact that we now get a 20-page story in every edition (and if you do not like it then 50% of the prog was a lost cause). I understand the idea was to get a collection done as quickly as possible (maybe it was already decided by then that the regen might be done and dusted). I liked it more when we had more stories thus a bigger change of something to your liking. I still believe scheduling is the bigger problem waiting for months between editions was a problem.

That is why I think it will work better if the schedule for it is done in a more flowing manner - this should never have been part of the normal prog run. Currently it broke-up the prog's run and we had these awkward breaks.
