We all know nobody draws Dredd or any other 2000AD characters like Tharg's droids, but I sometimes come across interesting depictions of Dredd drawn by non-droid artists. Came across these ones by American artists John Romita Jr and David Finch.

Please share some others!

Actually not bad! The only ones I know of are the ones seen in 2000AD publications - that terrible John Byrne story from a Special, the not-great Mike Avon Oeming story from one of the Xmas bumper Progs, the Dave McKean pin-up from the 1987 special, and of course the Frank Miller Megazine cover wot was rejected. Actually that JRJr sketch has a 1980s Frank Miller vibe to it.

All the covers by Bill Sienkiewicz as well.

Though I guess since they're cover they don't count?

A colour version of the JRjr piece was used as the cover to Mega City Masters Vol 2.

I loved that dredd.
If I'd known it was harmless I would have killed it myself.

There's a video from 2018 of Jim Lee drawing Dredd for the first time on You Tube where he calls Dredd's helmet shield a battering ram

Neal Adams may be a complete fruitloop these days, but the man can still draw.

Ohhh don't think I've seen that Neal Adams one before - that's really interesting. For some reason reminds me of mid period Greg Staples - think its the chin???
