Abortion's illegal in MC1 then? Never knew that.  It's just like here in good old Cat'lic Oireland.
Anyway, stand-out line in the prog for me was from Tharg - 'A bit of light Skeleton Witch, perhaps?'
not at all sure about his personal musical tastes, but it's good to have a funny Tharg again.

QuoteIt's the second silliest religion based on a work of science fiction.

Heh.  but the first silliest is first by a long shot.

I seem to remember SCB being very popular at the time. And yeah, it was fookin' brilliant. And furthermore, I think lots of people realised it was a homage to old-skool sports stories.  Write another one, please.

You're right about the Grudgefather, though.

And I thought you were Mark Millar in disguise for years.  Thank heaven for small mercies.

However, I did once buy a Misty annual from a second hand shop about 10 years ago and rhe bloke behind the counter said "Brown paper bag required, is it sir?"

Heh. Not quite as bad as the time I bought Heavy Metal as a naive young teenager, when one of the shop assistants as I was leaving said something that sounded horribly like 'enjoy your wank'.

They don't make stilted, uncomfortably awkward interviews with archetypal vampire actors like they used to:

I'm outraged - this is obviously a conspiracy by freedom-hating homosexual Muslim liberals designed to make the American right look like a bunch of inbred ignorant fuckwits.

That's 'muslin liberials' to you

I might start shunning those programmes as well.  Into a sock.

Beautiful! I can't record myself singing it, sadly. But again, thank you!

Not at all, sir.  Sadly, I've had my own version of the tune of 'Judge Dredd, Judge Dredd, his costume is a brilliant red' stuck in my head for three days now.

Now what I'd really love to hear, SBT, is an mpg of somebody singing that theme tune

Not really my bag either - his Missionary Man looked like he had Downe's Syndrome. Not that I have anything whatsoever against people with Downe's Syndrome, of course. It's just that Missionary man never had it in the stories before.

Everyone who has something witty to say in a Pat Mills story precedes it with three dots and encloses it in quotes.

All of Johnny Alpha's mates will be sitting round a table pissed.  He'll be there, beer in hand, stone cold sober.
