Marvel Comics' Alien

Anyone else getting this? The first couple of story arcs were fine: on-board research station attacked by anti-corp activists, a religious cult world as a practice run for weaponised xenomorph, but the latest series reads like its been written by a fourteen year old Fantastic Four fan. One who hasn't seen the films or looked at Giger's original artwork. The characters are straight out of Small Soldiers but without the subtlety and pathos, while the dialogue is like an AI's cut and paste attempt at storytelling. The xenomorphs are easily dispatched by our heroes and they even meet (yawn) a group of young hip survivors.

No, no I didn't like it now you ask...

SmallBlueThing(Reborn)

Agreed. Much to my surprise, I bought the second arc after thinking the novelty would have worn off following that first book. And then because i enjoyed the second even more than the first, after the renumbering, I continued with this one. It's pish.

Predator is a lot of fun though.

Agreed, I bought Predator on a recommendation, and it is funa straight forward quest, but with the promise of action ahead.
