If anyone (whilst reading their progs) has come across artwork sent into Tharg that was drawn by a droid before they became one, could you please post here, which prog, and who the artist is.
Thanks.

So far I have:

Mark Harrison (96)
Kevin Hopgood (115)
Adrian Salmon (119)
Colin MacNeil (121)
Kev F Sutherland (123)

... and that's as far as I've read :-)

Does Danny Cannon count as a droid?  He had a picture published somewhere...

Oddboy

I believe Logan's compiled a list of this on the Class of '79 site.

Yes he has, and I sent Robin the URL for that yesterday...

Robin is rescanning the images at high enough resolution for me for this site.

Anyone know if the David Stone (Cornwall) letter printed in 124 is from Dave Stone, creator of Armitage etc?

Funny this thread should come up, because I've just been reading the relatively recent Prog 1196 and found a letter from Si Spurrier slagging the living bejaysus out of Pat Mills' then-current offerings - 'It's like using 80-year-old models on page 3 because "they looked good when they were twenty"'. Also, the 'sad thing is that the readership is chock-full of young talent bursting with ideas.' Snakey one, Si - encourage a cull of old writers and bag yourself a job, eh? Eh, Si? Eh?
