Has it been confirmed anywhere which volume is going to be Red Seas 2? I usually preorder from Forbidden Planet but they don't have specifics yet, just the volume number without contents.

The issue number is 87, which is due out next week. The Hachette site doesn't show volume numbers but I suspect it will be volume 88 as the first book was volume 87.

1. Lawless - Badrock Melody
2. Dark Judges - Deliverance
3. Dreadnoughts - Breaking Ground

1. Deadworld (Visions of Deadworld). The creeping dread Kek and Dave have created won't leave.
2. Fiends of the Eastern Front. You can't keep a good bunch of vamps down.
3. Sinister Dexter. Nor a couple of wisecracking hitmen.

1. Lawless - Badrock Melody. I didn't get it until I listened along, and then it just clicked. Brilliant.
2. Deadworld - A Girl's Gotta Eat. Atmospheric as ever.
3. Infection. Makes the most of its extended running time, building to a memorable conclusion.

Yeah, Ten Seconders is pretty good. I suspect it'll read better under one cover than it ever did in the prog, where there was a five year gap(!) between books II and III, to say nothing of the horrendously unlucky artistic mishmash.

It does, as I first remember reading it when it was on Book 3 in the progs and didn't have a clue what was going on. It reads really well in one volume, and the end piece comments on the changes in artists. A worthy addition to the collection.

1. Masters of British Comic Art. David Roach has put together a beautiful and fascinating collection.
2. Strontium Dog - Search and Destroy. Great to have the Starlord stories collected.
3. Judge Dredd - Mechanismo Machine Law. Wagner on great form with the recurring question of robot judges.

2. 424 - brilliantly iconic image by Greg Staples.
3. 423 - the latest in a countless series of fantastic covers by the great Cliff Robinson.

1. Prog 2210 - Dave Kendall's work on Deadworld is consistently brilliant.
2. Prog 2206 - brilliant and deceptively simple old-school stuff from Alex Ronald.
3. Prog 2202 - Hookjaw returns in style, great and striking image from Simon Coleby.

Both fantastic covers, and either would be a worthy winner, but I'm voting for Kevin's brilliant 1984 scare-fest.

Colin is great, but I'm going to break with the run here and give my vote to Ian's magnificent 2015 work.
