Website and Forum / Re: Forum change...!

Just an idea I'd like to throw out. It's about the forum banner. I know, that's probably at the bottom of your list of priorities right now, and rightly so. But I would like to suggest is, that in this interim period, we have a wee competition on the forum to design a new banner. There's a lot of talented artists posting on here, all that's needed is a suitable brief and format

I watched Star Trek: First Contact again. It occured to me that it's a lot like a Zombie Movie. Except the Zombies have robotic attachments and lazers.

I've just sat up way past my bedtime playing Star Wars Battlefront II. It's not perfect but it' bloody good fun, either running about a battlefield as a storm trooper/boba fett/yoda/etc, or skootin about in an x-wing/tie fighter. I just spent the past five hours trying to conquer that Galaxy Far, Far Away....

...so far I've driven the rebels back to the Yavin and Tatooine systems, and my fleet has cut off their supply routes, I'm just about to send a Garrison of Storm troopers led by Boba Fett to conquer Mos Eisley.

I understand that the company that were to make Battlefront III for Lucasarts collapsed, and now the property is in legal limbo, but LucasArts really need to pull the finger out and make a new one, and while they're at it, they should release a few anthologies of their old games too.

I reckon The Justice Department gets all the money it needs from confiscating all the profits from the crazy fad-merchants. The banking cabals probably don't have enough financial leverage to influence Judicial legislation

QuoteBut he said: "The best thing is that the wart has gone. It was giving me lot of trouble.".....

..."I didn't expect to lose my finger as well when I shot it but the gun recoiled and that was it."

Watched a good chop socky film the other night. It was called Ip Man, and was loosely based on the life of Bruce Lee's mentor. I learned two things from this movie; Ip Man was a one man punching festival, and I really should find out more about the Sino-Japanese wars

I read a report recently, it claimed, on average, 125 million spam e-mails have to be sent before the spammers make $1(US).

I believe it was Einstein who explained theoretically the physics involved in time travel. It doesn't mean time travel is necessarily achievable though.

In the interest of balance, Stephen Hawking also described the Chronology Protection Conjecture, which describes the impossibility of Time Travel. That doesn't mean it's impossible though.

Science does not know as much as it pretends.

I take offense at this. Science does not pretend to know anything. The default scientific position on many subjects, homeopathy included, is 'We really just don't know'. The only people claiming to 'know' anything, while citing a scientific basis, are people with an agenda.
