Hello

Apart from the Comic Mart at the Royal National are there no other marts/fairs in London or Greater London?

Off Topic / What if Germany won the 1st WW?
27 July, 2010, 04:32:09 PM
I know we are all familiar with the concept, in fiction that is course i.e SS-GB, etc but what would of happened if they had been the victors of WW1?

But in fiction terms it would make a good story? No?

General / Prog 3 Free Gift Shocker!
25 July, 2010, 05:19:23 PM
Hello

It has just come to my attention (okay I know it's taken me 33 years to find this out) but the Red Alert wallet given away with prog 3 was printed on two different types of card and in two different shades of blue (is it blue?).

It's Sunday! give me a break.

General / 2000ad's Circulation figures!
17 July, 2010, 11:29:18 PM
Hello

Out of interest at what point would the publishers pull the plug on 2000ad as I have read (somewhere) that it's readership is no more than 20,000.  Which ain't good!

General / Looking for Thrills!!
09 July, 2010, 04:14:15 PM
Sad but true but as I have now entered my 40's I find rather than reading my old 2000ad's I tend to open their protective bags and take a deep breath in.....ahhhhhh.....bliss I love the smell of old comics.......to much information?
Oh how I wish I was 8 again.  Picking up my comics on a Saturday or even Friday, wearing shorts, marmite on toast, toad in the hole, jumpers for goal posts, etc. The world was a simpler place.

Question:  Did any one ever own one of those early 2000ad t shirts that were available to buy via a coupon on the back cover?

Love to own one even though it would'nt fit!!!

Welcome to the board / The First Judge Dredd Comic?
26 June, 2010, 10:20:31 PM
Hello
I once read some time ago an article about a Judge Dredd dummy comic that was produced some time in the late 1970's and was then distributed by accident to a limited number of newsagents.  Has any one any further information about this?
