Journals of Luke Kirby - more info

VS

Savage - more info

Two very English heroes come face to face. If we look at the form book it's hard to see Luke surviving the brutal Savage and while he's no stranger to a 'shooter' himself he can't wield it with the might of Bill.

Form book - Thrill vanquished to date (in order of round met earliest to latest):

Journals of Luke Kirby: Armitage; Amazing Maze Dumoir    ; The Dead; Ampney Crucis
Savage: Devlin Waugh; Kingmaker; 13; Brass Sun

Round 6 - or "Round of 16" as folks seem to like to call the last 16 these days (?!?) will feature just one thrill a day. I'd like to pretend this is to give these epic thrills more space and time to be commented on... but really it's to buy myself a bit of extra time to plan what comes next!

To Vote Just reply in this thread naming your favourite thrill of these two series at the beginning of your post (or use Bold tags so I can spot it easily) and say what you like about these wonderful stories after that.

Match ends early on the morning of Friday 26th August and the winner gets a place in the Quarter Finals.

What on Earth is ALL of this?

For those that need 'um and can be bothered to follow 'um there's some simple rules

Any questions, just ask as ever - and have FUN!

When I die, I want to die like my grandfather who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.

Old age is the Lord's way of telling us to step aside for something new. Death's in case we didn't take the hint.

Citizens are Perps who haven't been caught ... yet!

Shoota!, I mean savage

These two are definately the odd fish of the last 16 tho. The fact one is going to the quarters is kinda baffling.
If I'd known it was harmless I would have killed it myself.

Luck of the draw

Yes and when you look at what's left in the draw, there is a whopper of a tie coming in the next couple of days. I had been hoping the draw would keep three of the remaining thrills apart, but two of them are guaranteed to be drawn together.

Barrington Boots

Savage gets my vote - as per all my reasoning last round (when I expected it to go out)

Whoever gets through this, they've definitely had a jammy draw.
You're a dark horse, Boots.

Yeah especially when you reflect on some of the others and one coming up later this week... just to drum up some tension!
