As a script droid wouldnt it be easier to get one of Tharg's droids to post you the Progs?

>and the say that you're a fan who'd like the chance to work for the comic.

Is that such a good thing? Isn?t it better to say you?re an aspiring professional artist?

>I know TB Grover was the Wagner / Grant combo

T B Grover was a pen name for John Wagner alone, nothing to do with Alan Grant.

Tornado didnt have a space spinner given away with it it had a turbo flyer:

http://www.2000adonline.com/images/freegifts/tornado01_medium.jpg>

The 'New' eagle gave away space spinners (like the 2000AD one) with the first issue 27th March 1982 and with the 15th October 1983 edition.

The Space spinner with the first Eagle differed from the 2000AD one in its colour

sure others will grade your spelling but at 16 some of your favourite actors and musicians are james dean and roy orbison, i find that odd in a 16 year old but your favourite thing is to paint car crashes.
you sound as if you need help, so you should fit in perfectly.

Books & Comics / Re: All-new Captain Britain..........

Isn?t this comic done on a really small budget and aimed at kids and not the uber intelligential of the comic art form. It?s the free gift stuck to the cover that will attract the majority of readers not how faithful the depiction of the image of Captain Britain sticks to the version revered by fans of Alan Davis.

nightmare version.
all the great scriptwriters have retired and with the exception of a few who have replaced them, they are burning themselves out trying to write enough material to fill the gap.

the great artists have also retired as arthritis has set into their joints and their eyesight isn?t good enough to stare at computers screens all day. the new breed of artists are too worried about their longevity and careers, so after using comics as their stepping stone in to any artistic career they all move on to work on 3D realistic holo-projected game environments or are doing Tri-D ?videos? for some 30 second wonder pop stars.

replacements for many key jobs are found from within 2000ad fandom and self publishing and the whole nerve centre goes critical as no one can make a decision and they are left sobbing in a corner thinking it would be so easy because they once produced an 8 page a5 photocopied ?comic? for a convention that was then read by the few people that they knew.

or

it?ll continue pretty much has it has done and we?ll be reading the latest incarnation off slaine as pat mills is wired up to a machine that can read his brain waves from his life support machine and many of us will be asking for the long promised return of second city blues.

not bad, will certainly watch further episodes.
my only quibble the opening title music could have had more oomph.

so should rebellion monitor a forum that even some fans say at times has little to do with the titles they publish.
wouldnt it be better for people with concerns to raise them directly with the person responsible fot that area of rebellion and then they could share that info here.
it just seems that by posting questions in an open forum means that they arent being seen by the people who can answer them.

from looking at old threads ive noticed that people from rebellion have posted here in the past, but isnt talking on a message board like talking in to thin air, you can never be sure if anyone will hear what you say.
if you have a problem with something how about directing a question directly at a person who could answer and then put their reply up here. the contact link at the top of the page lets you e-mail tharg, gives you the postal address and a link to a public relations mail address.
