Other Reviews / Origins - Graphic Novel
08 June, 2007, 01:08:50 PM
It arrived this morning and although itâ??s only been a matter of weeks since it finished in the Prog and Iâ??ve been reading it in various ways for around two years I couldnâ??t wait to read it one go. As with the other Rebellion book it looks good and definitely benefits from the inclusion of The Connection.
In my opinion it does read better as a book rather than in its original weekly airing and has a nice cover gallery and sketchbook. The only thing that would make it any better would be a foreword by John but that doesnâ??t detract from it taking pride of place on my shelf.

Classifieds / Free To A Good Home
10 May, 2007, 07:47:43 AM
Afer three years I've finally moved my stuff out of storage and back home. Whilst starting to sort through everything Ive found my first lot of doubles and as I sort through the rest of it I'm sure I'll come across more.

They're free to a good home so if you want them just e-mail me with which one/s you want and after the weekend I'll post them out.

Events / Shed:Con Raffle
25 September, 2005, 02:15:33 PM
Just popped in to see if there is a Shed:Con this year and if so is there a raffle?

If there is I should be able to get some prizes so if someone mails me and lets me know I'll see what I can dig up.

A tenuous link to 2000AD as some of the artists from this company have worked for 2000AD but it brightened up a few moments of a rainy Sunday afternoon for me.

General / Moniaive
22 May, 2005, 10:31:51 PM
Just did a test post to see if my settings still worked so as much as I enjoyed seeing many of you at Bristol I've still not got the urge to come back.

For the last possible Moniaive Festival I'm putting together a small comic/magazine and may have some space to fill so if anyone has anything that they feel would suit the Moniaive Festival and want it considered then please feel free to get in touch by email and not on this thread.

All the best,

La Placa Rifa,
W. R. Logan.

General / Prog 1400
21 July, 2004, 02:56:16 PM
Great Prog with a nice wraparound cover.
Wont spoil it for others but highlights include Cam Kennedy on Dredd, Henry Flint proving that he's the most versatile artist on the 2000AD books with his ABC Warriors art, Dom Reardon going from strength to strength on Caballistics Inc and Carlos on Stront.
Ensure that thrill circuits are set to maximum.
