anybody read this yet, just read a review over on Aint It Cool and it sounds alright but I'd rather get the Hiveminds opinion(haven't been led wrong by it yet).  Ennis's first completely new series since Preacher and its limited 60 issues which is always a good thing if you ask me.

What i've seen of this sounds ace. Very Ennis-ey and I love Darick Roberston's art on Transmet.

I don't do any monthly's any more but i'm gonna give this one a go.http://www.comicon.com/pulse/images_05a/0drboys2.jpg">

Satanist

I've read it and its very Ennis. If you like that then go ahead. From what I can tell its gonna use the first few issues to introduce everyone.
Hmm, just pretend I wrote something witty eh?

Floyd-the-k

can you tell us what it's about without spoiling it?

JimBob

nonpowered group who take on superhumans. Only a few characters introduced so far, very graphic, very funny (not always sure about ennis and humour, rifle brigade was dreadful but I really liked this). Also appears to feature simon pegg as wee hughie, which takes a bit of getting used to.
enjoyed it but it is fairly strong and certainly issn;t for everyone.

Satanist

Its about a group  who are secretly employed by the US government to deal with superheroes when they get ideas above their station.
Hmm, just pretend I wrote something witty eh?

Satanist

Wot JimBob said! Yeah wee hughie does take a bit of gettin used to.

I, Cosh

I got the first one last week and it initially seems a bit like a gang of Mighty Kevs. Usual Ennis sickening violence and very foul language. The bit with Wee Hughie's girlfriend made me laugh out loud on the train so I'll give it 5 or 6 issues and see where it goes.
We never really die.

Emperor

There is a 7 page sampler where you can see the Pegg-a-like and his girlfriend's fate.

if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Shit I just made everyone in the office look at me after reading that, damn uncontrollable laughter.  It does seem very Ennis doesn't it.
Might get this unfortunatly will have to wait for the trades as nearest Comic shop that'd stock it is over 650km's away and cost to much to post each month.

Emperor

Weirdly its been cancelled as of issue #6. No trade collection either.

However, it is creator-owned and it looks like they are getting the rights back so could, at some point in the future, carry on (although Robertson is on contract to DC so I doubt it will be any time soon).

Art

What... the... fuck?

#6 was the one with the hamster, right?

Art

And as others have pointed out, if content was the issue... what about Infinite Rape Crisis?

The Adventurer

I don't read the book, so I'm not sure what exactly "The Hamster" entails, but I can guess. As it's A)Ennis and B)Ennis.

Comparing whatever that action was to Identity Crisis is pointless, as the Rape was not on camera, let alone graphic in any way.

What a buch of Pussies at DC, really wanted to get this one in Trades, guess the best we can hope is for IDW or some such to pick it up.  Might give the Comic shop a call to see if they've got the first six issues lying around.
