Artist needed...

I'm looking for an artist willing to help me develop some characters for illustrated novellas.

I only want a few pictures per novella, though each novella is set in the same story world and there are repeat characters I'm particularly interested in finding an artist who can draw panels.

I can't currently pay anything so I'm not hiring... but I am willing to give co-creator credit. I would like to be able to pay but even if I could I'm not sure how much I might have to budget for (see below for more on that).

I have cosplayers for the 4 main characters so can provide photos. I can also provide origin stories for all the 4 main characters.

I'm currently planning to give away short stories about these characters. I did so at Thought Bubble and got a little encouraging feed back. I'm also puttinfg stories online for people to read for free to generate interest. So this is a completely profitless project at the moment.

I don't expect anything huge but I think the story and setting has some legs... I'm hoping to maybe self publish. I'm pondering how to fund this as I have no spare funds currently. Considering crowd-funding sites... Or I might approach a publisher, not sure yet.

Regardless of how to fund I don't know what artists charge... so if I can't find someone reliable who is happy to do some pics for me for co-creator credits I need to have ideas of how much per page a comic artist might cost... Each novella would need about 6 pages of comic ready artwork plus a cover. So any insight on that would be great.

I'll post a link to the project later (either tonight or tomorrow) and there will be links to all the origin stories that I've done so far. So anyone that wants can take a look.
