I think this nearly beats out The Mandolorian as my favourite Starwars TV series.  The slow burn and quality of the writing nearly puts it up in the top tear of all TV up amongst the House of the Dragon for top TV this year.  The acting is superb from everyone, FX are great and considering the low action count the last two episodes have been edge of seat entertainment.  I really hope all f there is only 2 seasons the second season gets a bit of a time jump and ends flowing into Rogue One which is my favourite of the new Starwars movies.

Any one watching the new Quantum Leap, no a reboot an actual continuation of the original and so far (5 episodes) it’s been pretty decent if you were a fan of the original series.  Even though Hough he said he is not going to be in it the way it is going and the general premise of it I think we may get a bit of Sam later this season.  Kind of refreshing having each episode it’s own thing that can just be watched stand alone though there is an overall arc it doesn’t take up too much of the episodes run time.  New main character Ben is pretty good but I do miss the “oh boy” when he realises his situation after each leap.  Hope it gets another season.

Yes I enjoyed the last episode though the reveal of Sauron was not too much of a suprise it did try to wrong foot it earlier in the episode.
I don’t think you he Istari is Gandalf though probably one of the older Istari I will be a bit disappointed if it is him as I’ve been lead to believe he’s not on Middle Earth in this age
Overall I be liked the series it looks spectacular and sounds spectacular hope there’s not too long a wait for the next season.

Oh Lordy the new Hellraiser is quite good, maybe not as good as the first 2 (very little is imho) but nearly up there, has cut back a bit on the whole S&M vibe of the Cenobites but still recognisably Barkers work.  Love the new Cenobite design all fleshy and nasty and I really like the way they are wearing their flesh as cloths rather than the leather and flesh look from the originals.  Worth a watch it f you like your body horror.

Slow first couple of episodes but I’m liking it so far.
Main problem I have is we know Andor dies!!!!!

New season of Rick and Morty has been hitting it out of the park so far 2 for 2 and watching ep3 tonight

Shulkie is pretty good despite a complete lack of overall bad guy or story ark you usually get in these Marvel shows (which honestly is what they were going for).

Looks bloody spectacular but hasn’t grabbed me by the goulies yet though I only had time to watch the first episode so far.  The opening scene/battle really looks like something you’d see on the big screen not TV, the flaming eagle crashing down was some of f the most spectacular fantasy imagery I’ve ever seen, makes the recent Wheel of Time series look like low budget drek.  Will watch ep 2 tonight, never read Tolkien but love the Jackson movies so speculation time - So the flaming dude that fell from the sky?  Gandalf or Sauron sneaking his way into the world of man? I mean he has to make the rings and as he is already an established bad guy he is going to have to convince the humans, Elves etc to take said rings and I doubt they would take them off the evil armoured up Sauron so what better way to convince them to take it?  As I said never read Tolkien so it might already be explained in the appendices that they have based the series on.

Watched the new Stallone flick on Amazon last night.  Called the Samaritan, two brothers born with powers one good The Samaritan and one bad Nemesis fought to the death at a power station years ago and both were never seen again but a teenager who’s a big fan of the Samaritan thinks he’s the old guy who lives across the street.  Pretty decent movie, it’s budget shows in a couple of places but the action when it comes is decent, there is a third act twist that I took me by surprise but really probably should have seen coming.  Stallone is pretty decent in it but it’s really the kid that steals the show and the bad guy is pretty decent and played by that guy that played the pirate in Game of Yhrones.  Doesn’t overstay it’s welcome at just over 100 minutes is a decent way to spend the evening.
Also Rouge One was on TV, good damn this was a great Starwars movie, had high hopes for the new movies after this one the we got the sequels ☹️

Never read the comics but watching the show and enjoying it a lot.  Episode 6 is great TV I think, both tragic and uplifting, the way the episode is split in 2 I’m guessing this is based on two issues.  I can see why the comic would be big with the goth  crowd as Dream is pretty much a Goth Dream Boy 😊
Very much needed to be a TV series for can’t see how this would ever have worked as a movie.  The production values of this are through the roof it looks gorgeous and the soundtrack is divine, I’ve heard it  ost in about $15 million per episode.  Will be watching the rest over the next couple of evenings.

Another yes for Paper Girls, after slow first half of ep 1 it’s great, watched Ep 3 and 4 last night and my st say hello unexpected MECH at the end has cemented it for me.  May not be available for nexpected for fans of the comic though.  Wouldn’t really say it is like Stranger Things though but it does have a great and believable child cast which is what made season 1 of Stranger Things so great.

I liked this a lot, I also like Discovery a lot particularly the last season but I like them for different reasons.  The old school episodic nature of New Worlds is to its benefit and we get to know the crew better that other new Treks also Pike does have magnificent hair.  Final episode was great but the new Captain Kirk while gone isn’t no Shatner.  Bring on season 2

Sonic 2
It’s a movie based on a game where a Blue Hedgehog sprite runs from left to right really fast jumping on bad guy robots, really shouldn’t work but like the first one it does.  Was lots of fun, nice little Easter eggs in there for fans of the game, took my 5 year old daughter as her first trip to the cinema and she loved it too, she even sat in her seat for the whole 2 hours, maybe 15 minutes too long they could cut out the whole Hawaii wedding and nothing would be missed.  Jim Carrey bought it as Robotnic again and Edris Elba was great as Knuckles you get a very Drax feeling from the character.  I f you didn’t think much of the first one don’t bother but for my money both Sonic & Sonic 2 are probably the best Video Game moves so far.

Adam Project or The Adam Project not sure and can’t be bothered looking it up.  New Ryan Reynolds movie on Netflix, he goes back in time meets his younger self then goes back further in time and they both meet his absences dead dad.  Not too bad, it’s a Netflix movie so variable quality on the FX and you either like Reynolds or don’t, the kid they cast to play young Reynolds does a pretty good job and overall enjoyable, I’ll rate it the way Netflix let you do just a 👍 from me.

Latest series is Star Trek through and through for me, though not being the hugest Trekker take from that what you will.  I thoroughly enjoyed this season though it could’ve been a couple of episodes shorter to cut a bit of filler it was good to get a season without a big bad and just voyaging where no one has gone before.
